Well done to 11-year-old Zara Kelly, daughter of Valerie and Keith who played in the Cumann na mBunscoil exhibition game at the All Ireland Hurling Semi Final in Croke Park – Tipperary v Wexford on Sunday 28th July 2019. Zara has just finished P7 in St Patrick’s Primary School Ballymaghery and is a dual Camogie/Ladies Football player with Clonduff GAA Club. She and her family had a fantastic day out!
Zara and her family were not the only Clonduffians in Croke Park that day! As is now customary, the Club organized a ‘Day Out’ for juvenile hurlers and their family and friends to one of the semi finals. The 2019 trip just happened to coincide with Zara’s Big Day! Two bus loads of supporters left Pairc Chluain Daimh that morning and all agreed it such an exciting game that Tipperary won by two points!
