BRIAN McGREEVY MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT 2022
🏆The Brian McGreevy Tournament 🏆
Thankfully the worst of the rain stayed away from Clonduff Park on Saturday 11th June as the annual Brian McGreevy U7.5 tournament returned after a 2-year absence.
Teams from Official Down GAA Armagh GAA Tyrone GAA & Louth GAA battled it out in an amazing show of relent and skill. The youngsters were a credit to themselves and their clubs, and it shows that the future of our games is indeed bright!
In the hotly contested Plaque final, @Clannnabanna Ogs narrowly defeated @BurrenGaa Ogs, whilst the @Moygaa narrowly pipped the Clonduff Ogs in the final of the plate.
Following these two finals, the Shield and Cup finals were played. In the shield, @Tullylishgaa narrowly defeated Glen Emmett’s in a tight affair. @Burren faced off against @Carrickcruppen and it took extra time to separate the sides, with Burren emerging victorious.
Congratulations to all of the winners, however it has to be noted that the standard of football on show was brilliant across the board.
