Covid-19: Guidelines for a Safe Return to Gaelic Games

CLONDUFF SAFE RETURN TO PITCH POLICY

Overall ethos is to Stay Healthy, Stay Safe, Keep your Distance and
Keep to the Left when Entering/Exiting

ALL PLAYERS (OR IN THE CASE OF JUVENILES, THEIR PARENT/GUARDIAN), MENTORS, ADMINISTRATORS MUST COMPLETE THE E-LEARNING MODULE AND OBTAIN THE CERTIFICATE IN THEIR NAME. This needs to be seen by the Covid Supervisor (a screenshot on phone will suffice) before player can be admitted to the pitch for the first time.  NO CERTIFICATE = NO ADMISSION

ALL PLAYERS (or in the case of Underage Players, their PARENTS), MENTORS, ADMINISTRATORS MUST COMPLETE THE HEALTH QUESTIONNAIRE (ON APP) AND SHOW EVIDENCE OF THIS TO THE COVID SUPERVISOR ON FIRST ATTENDANCE. For subsequent attendances, players/parents will be required to sign simple declaration that health has not changed since they completed the questionnaire – Maintain Social Distance whilst signing.
THOSE UNWILLING TO SIGN WILL NOT BE ADMITTED TO PITCH!

Players should arrive no more than five minutes before the scheduled session and leave immediately the session is over. Remember the GAA principle is ‘Get in, train and get out’

The driveway to the club rooms will become a pedestrianised one-way system. All players/parents must park their cars in the top car parks (mentors carrying coaching equipment are the only exception to this rule). PLEASE ADHERE TO SIGNAGE DIRECTIONS

Adult players must not car-share except with own family group. To avoid congestion, adult players are asked to park their cars in the church top car park from 29th June.

All Juveniles must be dropped off and picked up by their own parent/guardian (no car sharing) – parents must not enter or remain at pitch or in the car park during training due to the possibility of congestion. For the drop off/pickup parents should use the club’s two top car parks or the church lower car park.

Parent/Guardian must accompany child(ren) to the entrance to the pitch, sign the declaration and leave immediately following the direction signs. Youngsters must not leave pitch until parent/guardian picks them up at the exit of the pitch. Parents are urged to be on time!

Each of our pitches has two gateways – one for entering, one for exiting.  Sanitising Stations to be placed at each of these. Please sanitise your hands before/after every session.

Each player must bring his/her own water bottle clearly marked with his/her name

Please do not take back-packs or other bags to the pitch.

All players must arrive in their training gear as the Dressing rooms are still out of bounds, showers are not available.

A toilet will be available for emergency use only – Parents should encourage children to use toilet at home before attending session.

From 29th June – 20th July there must be no physical contact with other players, including hand-shake, hug, high-fives, etc – this is liable to change in light of recent RoI Guidelines.

Players, must at all times adhere to Covid prevention regulations regarding coughing, spitting, etc. IF A PLAYER FEELS UNWELL BEFORE THE SESSION PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND BUT DO LET MANAGER/MENTOR KNOW.

Players will be assigned to a group for the training session and must remain in that group until the end of session.

Access to all three pitches is gained by ‘keeping to the left’.

If going to the Top Pitch, stay on left footpath until directly opposite the steps before crossing over;

If going to Back Field, keep on left footpath at all times.

Those going to Main Pitch may diverge at Back Field entrance and proceed diagonally across Car Park to Main Pitch entrance to prevent congestion.

Please adhere to Directional Signage!
