A charaThis year Coiste Contae an Dúin will again be offering 25 x £200 Gaeltacht scholarships. Club members wishing to apply for a scholarship should complete the online form (see link below), the closing date for application forms is Friday 12th May. It is planned to conduct the interviews on Monday 29th May. Details of the interview times will be issued.
Note:
As this is a Down GAA initiative, applicants must be members of a GAA club in County Down.
It is intended that recipients will not receive a scholarship from other sources (local council, Irish language groups, etc)
In Q10, applicants are encouraged to outline their interest in Irish language, reasons for attending the Gaeltacht, their involvement in GAA activities (GAA, Camogie, LGFA, Scór, etc) and involvement in other aspects of Irish culture (Irish dancing, music, etc)
