Eleven of the Fifteen U12 ladies Handballers participating in Saturday’s (17th May) one wall blitz in Mayobridge, were from Clonduff. For most this was their first ever chance to play the one wall version of the sport. It took a little while to adjust to the different court. When they got it’s measure some great handball was played. Afterwards all players were presented with a handball by County Chairman, Sean Magone, to thank them for their efforts. Ellen and Blaithin Shields, Codie Morgan, Georgia Lavery, Eveagh Kelly, Ella McCumiskey, Eve Matthews, Rosie and Orla McCann, Caoimhe Morgan and Erin Morgan.The Clonduff Girls were mentored by Colin Shields on the day.
Meanwhile the U12 boys, mentored by Eddie Clancy on the day, participated in one wall blitz in Saval – the boys also received handballs.
