Saturday 2nd October brought to an end the activities for these youngsters – with a very poor weather forecast the activities were accommodated in Inf Hall Hilltown Newry with the last minute supply of inflatables by ACDC Bouncy Castle Hire And Entertainment.As there were 200+ children to accommodate the day was split into 5 sessions:
*11am to 12pm P2 School Year*12.15am to 1.15am P3’s
*1.30pm to 2.30pm P4’s
*2.45pm to 3.45pm U9 Girls
*4pm to 5pm U9 Boys
There were burgers, treats and presents for all the kids attending in their Clonduff gear.
Thanks to Bj Killen for inflating the van load of balls, to Northern Ireland Water for the supply of the reusable water bottles, to Geraldine, Paul, Kevin and the two Daniels in the kitchen, to Damian, Anthony, their spouses and all the mentors of those age groups who organised and/or helped run the day, to the parents who contributed to the fundraising for the event, to the Inf Hall Hilltown Newry for the last minute use of the Hall.What a great party it turned out to be despite the bad-weather morning!
