Before a capacity crowd in Saval GAC Club on Sunday 1st March 2009 Clonduff picked up two Scór Sinsir titles to add to their South Down titles won two weeks previously! The opposition was tough in both competitions but the nature of the Novelty Act – based on Barack Obama’s Irish roots – comprehensively swept the boards. Those taking part were the Downey Brothers Sean and Paddy (who wrote the script), Kealim O’Hare, Eamon Devlin and Therese White. The Set Dancing team was a new-look mixed team from previous years – Onagh Gribben, Janine Branagan, Anne Kelly, Tracey Magee, Niall and Francis Quinn, Seamus Parr and John Cunningham – but they carried on the strong tradition of Clonduff in the County Final!
