The Aim of all Club Sub Committees is to share the workload – the members are appointed by the Executive Committee and should be chaired by a member of The Executive. Sub Committees should be small in number and can co-opt non-Executive members who are considered to possess particular expertise/talent in certain areas. However, a Sub Committee cannot make decisions – their remit is to make recommendations to main committee. Sub Committee meetings are to be held in the Clubrooms and Minutes taken.
Clonduff’s Senior Officers (Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer) are automatic members of all Sub Committees and must be made aware of all committee and sub committee meetings.
