The Down LGFA U16 Summer League got underway, after the Exam Break, on Sunday 18th June with Clonduff playing away to Liatroim.
The hot weather certainly did not deter these girls from doing the job they travelled to do in Liatroim, they knuckled down, worked hard and supported each other through the field
Liatroim fought hard and the final score definitely did not reflect how they played, well done to them for their determination, and continuous effort. When the teams met earlier in the season Clonduff just about ‘scraped home’.
The Clonduff girls are continuing to grow from strength to strength and their courageous efforts to improve are evident in every game they play they show such faith and confidence in each other!
