Clonduff Camogs, and a few friends of Clonduff travelled to Dubai in January 2008 to take part in the International Sevens Festival, and ended up winning it! Maura Quinn, Doreen Maginn, Teresa Carr, Onagh Gribben and Noreen Tumilty accompanied the players – Noreen actually turned out for the team! They were accompanied by Clonduff Club Chairman Brian McGreevy and his wife Mary – Brian’s cousin, Darragh McGreevy, living in Dubai, was a great host for the week! There were a couple of boyfriends too – Francis Quinn and Finbarr McConville who got a couple of games as guests of the home side. The players were (apart from Noreen): Sheenagh McConville, Orla Maginn, Fionnuala Carr, Kitty Fegan, Leann McParlan, Ursula Quinn, Pauline Trainor, Guinevra McGilligan and Karen Gribben.
