Senior Camogie Final – Clonduff v Ballycran – The final was played in sweltering conditions in Castlewellan on Sunday afternoon before a big crowd of spectators. Clonduff were first out of the blocks and that’s the way it stayed! Clonduff were cruising but not converting all their opportunities – they led 0-8 to 1-3 at the break. The second half totally belonged to Clonduff with the ball seldom venturing into the Clonduff end and Ballycran were held scoreless whilst Clonduff added 2-9 to leave the final score Clonduff 2-17 Ballycran 1-3. This is Clonduff’s third title in four years (the only other team to win it was Ballycran after a replay with Clonduff in 2008).
