The 31st Gary Murray U12 Tournament took place on Saturday 28th July 2007 – 12 teams participated in sunny Clonduff Park. The teams were divided into 4 groups of 3 ensuring at least 2 games for participants (some teams, not involved in playoffs took the opportunity to play a challenge game – viz Warrenpoint v Bryansford. The teams taking part were Clonduff A, Saval, Bryansford, Rostrevor, Mitchels, Longstone, Kilcoo, Warrenpoint, Dromintee, Clonduff B St John’s and Burren. The winners from each group – Clonduff A, Burren, Rostrevor and Dromintee played in the Semi finals with Burren and Rostrevor meeting in the final, which was refereed by Peter McClorey. Rostrevor defeated Burren to lift the trophy. The trophies were presented to the runners up by Ciaron Murray and the winning trophies were presented by Cathal Murray (Snr). Other referees on the day included John A Gribben, Peter Brannigan, Cathal Murray (Jnr), Alistair McGilligan, Johnny McAleavey. The event was co-ordinated by Tommy Kelly, Alistair McGilligan and Anita Brannigan.
