Clonduff U8 and U10 footballers made the journey to Moy Co Tyrone on Saturday 26th September for their annual tournament which is unique to all Moy tournaments. All teams entering the tournament must enter an A and B team. A teams only play other A teams and B teams only play other B teams. Scores of both teams are aggregated to produce the winners.
Pictured above are the U10s who played out of their skins and reached the final. Aaron Devlin was chosen as ‘Player of the Tournament’ a feat he achieved in the Moy U8 Tournament two years ago and also as an U10 player in The Newry Mitchell’s Tournament in June 2009. Well done boys and girls you did yourselves, your families and your club proud.
The U8 boys and girls (bottom pic) went one better – having won all their group games on aggregate scores they won their tournament outright and young Charlie Kerr was selected as ‘Player of the Tournament’ – Charilie also plays Hurling for Clonduff.
