Despite family commitments due to First Communion, Clonduff took two teams to the first organised monthly U10 Go Games Blitz in Mayobridge (to rotate around the clubs on 2nd Saturday of each month for five months) on Saturday morning.
It was a great day and every child got to play at least four games in different positions – backs became forwards and forwards became backs giving the youngsters the opportunity to experience different aspects of the game. After the games were over, each team got a bottle of water and a piece of fruit.
The mentors wish to sincerely thank all those who travelled with the children to help with the teams, provide transport, or simply to support. Next month’s games are in St Michaels. Below are photos (courtesy of Noleen Cairns) of the two team who were Named Clonduff Gaels and Clonduff Ógs.
