St Patrick’s Primary School reached the Down Schools Final when they came up against Ballyholland PS on Saturday 18th June 2011. The boys played brilliantly but unfortunately they could not repeat the feat of two weeks earlier when they defeated Paul Shields’ team in the Conor McConville Tournament. Paul’s team reversed the result of that final and lifted the cup. The Clonduff youngsters were very disappointed but they must remember that all in Clonduff are extremely proud of their reaching the County final. The boys above, pictured with Club (and school) coaches Jimmie Devlin and Artie Quinn in St Malachy’s Castlewellan include Enda McAleavey, Jamie O’Hagan (joint capt), Christopher McAleavey, Darren Quinn, Dylan Downey, Ben McConville (joint capt), Aaron Devlin, Padraig Wilson, Tom Close, Tiarnan Russell, Charlie Kerr, Jude Campbell, Dean McCabe, James Keenan, Shane Cairns, James Carvill, Ethan Lyness-Feenan, Ruairi Quinn, Darragh McSloy, Conor Fitzpatrick, Cathal Fitzpatrick, Owen Murray, Matthew Trainor, Eugene Lively, Niall McAleavey, Rory McKernan
