While the adults were doing their bit on Saturday 18th August 2012, the U8 Footballers were laying down a marker for the future in the Longstone Tournament – Clonduff won the Shield! The youngsters, pictured above include: Daniel McPolin, Cormac Kelly, Adam Fegan, Aiden Kelly, Oisin Logan, Shane Greenan, Conor Greer, Eoin Gribben, Eoin Kelly, Callúm Donnan, Eva Kelly, Shea Morgan, Ellen Shields, Dan Rafferty, Clodagh Kelly, Charlie O’Hare and Donnacha Burns. Callúm is holding the shield but the joint captains for the day who collected the trophy were: Ellen Shields, Adam Fegan and Conor Greer.
