The Clonduff team (above) that competed in the Fr Davies Shield ‘A’ Final – Clonduff v Burren (South Down U20 Final) – The Clonduff lads fell at the final hurdle of the South Down League. They did have home advantage but found the size and experience of their opponents just too much. Clonduff played against a very strong wind in the first half and found themselves with a mountain to climb in the second half. They did make a good fist of it but Burren handled the wind factor better in the second half than Clonduff did in the first. Final score Clonduff 1-7 Burren 2-11
