The ‘Meet and Greet’ session organised by the Down Hurling Board for youngsters from across the county to come and meet the Down and Cork players after the match on Sunday 18th March 2007. The Clonduff lads met John Gardiner, Joe Deane and Wayne Sherlock and had their jerseys autographed by Down player Gareth Johnston.
They were taken for their day out by their mentors Damien Farnon and Paddy Branagan.
