Clonduff staged their annual U12 LGFA Tournament on Saturday 5th September– what a great occasion it was! Teams from Burren (2), Saval, Bosco, Rostrevor, Kilcoo, Castlewellan and Clonduff participated in a great little festival of Juvenile Ladies Football.

Teams were randomly placed into two groups with the top two in each progressing to knockout stages in Cup competition and the bottom two to the knockout stages in the Shield competition.
In the finals, the home side defeated Saval in the Cup having gone through the entire morning undefeated – the first time Clonduff has collected their own cup! In the Shield final Rostrevor defeated Burren.
A big thank you to the clubs and their mentors who participated, to Paula Cairns and the U16 players who refereed the games and acted as runners, the parents of our U12s who provided enough sandwiches, buns, etc to feed 5,000! and who made/served teas and helped clean up after, the club personnel who organised and administered the event and operated the club shop.
