SOUTH DOWN AWARDS 2012 – JERRY QUINN’S LAST PHOTOGRAPH

It was a great night for the Gaels of Clonduff at the Annual South Down Awards on Friday 30th November in Mayobridge Social Club when the Guest of Honour was Tyrone Legend Mickey Harte. Some of the Clonduff contingent and Award winners are pictured above with the Man Himself.
The night began with a traditional music group comprising the Murray Family (Clonduff) – Sean, Mary Catherine and Eoin – and a group from Mayobridge including their Uncle and cousins – Peter, Eimear and Cathal.
The winners included: Gerard (or as we know him Ben) Brennan (Juvenile Referee); Arthur McConville (Player of the Year); Clonduff GAA Club (Chairman’s Award); Sara Louise Carr (Recognition of her Soaring Star Award), Sean McNally (Recognition of his All Ireland Handball Silver Masters title) and the big one of the night – Hall of Fame to Fintan Mussen.
In the traditional ‘envelope collection’ for Charity the proceeds were divided between the Michaela Foundation and the Ryan Doyle Repatriation Fund.
