Clonduff Park was buzzing on Monday morning 31st July as 270 children of all age groups amalgamated to enjoy the fun, craic, camaraderie and skill building. Clonduff coaches include Ryan McShane (Ulster GAA) and newly qualified coaches Erin Rafferty and Tom Close and Young Volunteers Jayme McDonald and Georgia Lavery. Current County players Kevin McKernan and Donal O’Hare are among the raft of coaches present as was former County Player Benny Coulter. Cathal Murray (current County Senior Football Coach, former Clonduff and Down Player) joined in the action to bring the camp to an end in glorious sunshine on Friday morning – the best day of the week. The Nursery Campers couldn’t operate on Wednesday in the torrential rain – they reverted to the Youth Club and Handball Alley on Thursday but it was all systems go on Friday in Clonduff Park. We thank the parents for their support of the camp and their patience during the bad weather. We particularly thank the coaches for giving the children a great experience.
