Of the four Primary Schools’ finals played on Saturday 15th June 2019 St Patrick’s Park, Newcastle, St Patrick’s Primary School, Ballymaghery had teams in two of those finals and the players are all members of Clonduff Club.
PRIMARY SCHOOLS FOOTBALL FINAL – St Pat’s 1-14 Ballyholland 2-13.
This was a heart-breaking result for the boys and it is poor consolation to the St Pat’s lads to know that, despite playing their hearts out, they ended on the wrong side of one of the best Primary Schools County Finals for many a year. For the spectators, it was a fabulous game to watch and the boys should be proud of their performance in the County Final.
Well done to mentors of both teams both in St Patrick’s and in Clonduff Club.
