The raffle to replace the Connor McConville football tournament took place in St Patrick’s Primary School on Tuesday 9th June 2020. St Patrick’s Principal Ms Una Lawless welcomed Róisín McConville and her grandson Ethan, along with St Paul’s Principal Declan Mason. The McConville family had very kindly given five raffle prizes to be used for a raffle for all the primary 7 children of the parish.
It was discussed how we could make the raffle fair between the two schools and it was decided that the best bet was to put all the names in together. The result of this was that the five prizes were won by children from Saint Patrick’s Primary School, Hilltown. We were all a little perplexed at this.
Roisin very kindly said that her family would like to donate a further prize to be raffled only for the children from Saint Pauls PS Cabra. This was a wonderful idea. Caitlin Magennis was the lucky winner from Cabra.
Congratulations to the lucky prize winners from St Patrick’s in Hilltown:
1st: Jack Mc Greevy – Clonduff training jersey
2nd: Nathan Green – Clonduff shorts and socks
3rd: Ciara Mc Polin – Clonduff hat and Clonduff mug
4th: Shea Sloan – O’Neills Football
5th: Jamie Mallon – Clonduff iPad cover and The Clonduff Story Book
Congratulations to the lucky prize winner from St Paul’s in Cabra:
6th: Caitlin Magennis
