Well done to Orla Morgan who attended the MNA (Motivate, Nurture, Aspire) mentoring practical session today at Meadowlands Sport Complex in Magherafelt.
The MNA programme is a two year course which will equip participants with skills which will enable them to recruit and retain female coaches within their communities.
The first project involves the ‘Tesco Hurl with Me’ programme where parents (Mummy’s, Daddy’s or Granny/Granda/Uncle/Aunt) are invited to attend 4 sessions where they will learn the basic skills of camogie in order to be able to play along with their daughter at home or alternatively there will be an opportunity for the female participants to progress to undertake the foundation coaching course which will enable them to assist with coaching teams.
