Clonduff U17 footballers took part in the inaugural Daniel Bailie tournament in Drumgath on Saturday 16th April. Clonduff were in a group with Dromintee, St Mark’s High School and Drumgath, and finished top of the group having beaten St Mark’s and drawing the other two matches.
They played St John Bosco in the semi final and ran out winners to reach the final and to play Drumgath again.
After normal time the two teams couldn’t be separated again and the match went into extra time. Clonduff battled away but Drumgath ran out winners.
Clonduff would like to thank Drumgath for their hospitality and for a really well organised and run tournament.

Two other Clonduff lads, Callum Donnan (U19) and Danny McLogan (U15) played for the St Mark’s team.
Well done players and management you did yourselves, your families and your club proud.
