Ceallagh Byrne (right 2nd row) captained the Down Minors in the All Ireland Final on Saturday 6th May. They played Kerry in Clane Co Kildare but unfortunately the Down girls were beaten by four points.The team also included Cara Savage (right bottom row) who captained U16 team, Niamh McConville (right top row), Hannah Shields (left bottom row) who played for the U16s the following day, Grace Clancy (left top row), and Amy Morgan (left middle row).
A very busy day for the girls and camogie family, All Ireland Final at 2pm in Co Kildare and then May Ball Celebrations in the Whistledown Warrenpoint later that evening and U16 Camogs away to Meath on Sunday in first game of their All Ireland campaign.
