A huge congratulations to the Year 9/10 (U14/15) Camogs of St Marks who were crowned Sciath Aoife Champions after defeating St. Patrick’s, Dungiven on Friday 19th May in MUSA, Cookstown.
The Clonduff players: Back row (l-r) Sophie Fitzpatrick, Therese Cowan (joint captain), Abi Hannaway, Anna Rose Carvill, Katie McAlinden with the coach Lorraine McGinn; Front row (l-r) Blaithin Kelly, Katie Farrell and Annie Fegan.
The girls saved their best camogie of the year for the final today with some exceptional skill and phenomenal team play on show. The team was back-boned by a big contingent of Clonduff players. Well done girls!
A massive thank you and congratulations to the U14 Camogie coach Mrs Lorraine McGinn, who is a dual player in her Clonduff club, just like most of the Clonduff girls on the panel. She works week in, week out with these girls, preparing them and getting them ready for all their games and had a huge part to play in today’s final. Well done Lorraine and Co!
