Clonduff Clubrooms looked magnificent, decked out in club colours to welcome award winners, their families and invited guests. Fear an Tí, Francis Quinn got proceedings underway by welcoming everyone to the event, including special Guests of Honour – Emily Bingham (Clonduff member of All Ireland Winning LGFA team) Clonduff Set Dancers and Eileen McCusker (keeping the Scór flag flying high in Clonduff), Maureen O’Higgins (Vice Chair Down Co Board), Paula Magee (Ulster Scór Chair) and her husband Peter, Our President Fintan Mussen, Vice Presidents Fr Charlie Byrne and Maura Quinn, Primary Schools Principals Geraldine Smith and Niall Geoghegan.
After a short address by Club Chair, the first award of the evening – Induction into Clonduff’s Hall of Fame – was introduced in the dulcet tones of Club President Fintan Mussen. The worthy recipient was that ‘Giant of the Game’ Peter Hamill and he was presented with the PJ McAlinden Memorial Trophy by Mrs Bronagh McAlinden.

Whistles & Whiskey provided the excellent musical entertainment to conclude the wonderful evening.
