Our U10s Hurlers travelled to An Riocht on Saturday morning, 4th May 2024 for an All County Blitz – it was a great morning’s hurling.
These blitz days are all about getting used to games again, taking a few bumps and giving a few bumps back.
In this particular blitz we focussed on counting clean pick-ups and strikes from the hand. The first game started with 6 clean pick-ups and by the last game they were up to over 20 per game of clean pick ups and strikes from the hand.
Clonduff had 2 teams participating in this blitz – we picked the teams the old fashioned way, threw all the hurls into 1 pile then divided them out into 2 piles.
The boys played some great games today and their confidence is improving week on week
Thanks to coaches Francis Quinn and Ryan Quinn for leading the teams at this blitz.
Back to training next week!
