Against all the odds, Clonduff Senior Ladies reached the semi final of the Intermediate Championship, having played in junior league.
They gave a wonderful account of themselves against the Championship favourites, Saul in their home pitch. Saul led by 5 at half time 2-6 to 1-4. Clonduff got an early goal in the second half to close the gap but the home side were able to regroup and run out 6 point winners 2-13 to 2-7.
