Annual Tony Carr Hurling Blitz
Clonduff U8.5 and U6.5 (a first for this group) hurlers travelled to Pairc Esler on Friday 27th September for the annual Tony Carr floodlit hurling blitz.
All teams got an opportunity to play under the lights of the county pitch which was a great experience.
There were four Clonduff teams competing at U8.5 and one team at U6.5. All teams competed well. There was no fear shown by the U6.5 team who were able to get stuck in. The older teams were picking the sliotar up when space and time allowed and there was some excellent displays of blocking and shooting for lads so young.
The lads have their last blitz of the year in Bredagh on Saturday 5th October then the parish league later in October will wrap up a very successful year.
Thanks to Newry Shamrocks for another great night of hurling
