The Clonduff girls played Newry Shamrocks in the semi final on Sunday morning in Pairc Esler. Both teams battled hard against the continual rain and the wide open spaces of Pairc Esler.
The Clonduff girls made a strong start and went in at half time leading 3-5 to 1-5. But, it was difficult to maintain the intensity they showed in the first half and were eventually beaten by a single point – so near and yet so far! Total heartbreak for the girls and management – the girls gave it everything they had and they should be very proud of their performance. Your club is very proud of you and look forward to seeing you progress and develop in the coming years.
