CLONDUFF III START 2025 WITH GREAT COMEBACK WIN

CLONDUFF III V ANNACLONE II

Before this game got underway in Pairc Chluain Daimh on Sunday afternoon between the homeside and Annaclone GAC, the players stood for a moment’s silence to pay tribute to the late Orán McConville from the neighbouring club of Drumgath GAC.

Clonduff got the first score of the game but found the scoring very difficult to come by against a very strong breeze blowing up the field. Annaclone had a good lead at half time and halfway through the second half they had moved into an 11 point lead. Then the boys in Yella got into their stride and fired in a couple of wonderful quick-fire goals and when they took the lead they held it comfortably to finish on a scoreline of 4-12 to 1-15. Well done team and management!

Back row (l-r) Gerald Carvill, Conor Grant, Niall Tumilty, Kieran Trainor, Karl O’Hagan, John McPolin, Noel McPolin, Darragh McAlinden, Paddy Gribbin, Brendan O’Hagan, Charlie Brown, Niall Ward, Tony Ward, Oisin Tumilty, Aidan Brown: Front Row (l-r) Aidan Kelly, David Smith, Mark McPolin, Padraig Morgan, Bryan Rice, Oran Wilson, Michael McGivern, Darren Farrell, John Fegan and team mascot Ollie Farrell.
