Clonduff Minor Hurlers started their season with a home game against the Ballela/Ballyvarley combination of St Patrick’s.
A slow first half had Clonduff behind at the break by 2-5 to 0-2. An early 1-2 by the Yellas in the second half brought the game to life and a tough physical battle ensued to the end. However, St Patrick’s were able to tag on some scores to win 5-8 to 2-8.
A promising second half performance gives confidence for the weeks ahead as the players will develop with the match practice in the weeks ahead.
