Congratulations to Alill Morris, who has been named as Vice Captain of Official Down GAA Minor Hurlers.
Down Minors are now taking part in the Electric Ireland Celtic Challenge and narrowly lost their first group game on Saturday 13th April 2024 against Wexford in Abbotstown by 0-15 to 0-12 with Alill having a commanding display at Centre Back.
Down will play further group games in the coming weeks against Tipperary and Cork where fellow Clonduff Minor Ethan O’Kane will be involved.
Both Ailill and Ethan are accomplished dual players for Clonduff, playing both Hurling and Football.
