Clonduff representatives on Down’s All Ireland winning team of 1991 received numerous awards through the Silver Anniversary Year – Ulster Final, All Ireland Final, special Down Commemorative event in Canal Court Hotel and they were also honoured by their club at the annual awards in November in Hugh McCann’s Newcastle. Ross received his award on the night; Cathal, attending the Saul Awards with whom he is manager received his award from Club Chairman Jimmie Cousins at a Down Training night in Clonduff Park the following week.
Both men are playing their part with County – Ross is Chair of Club Down and Cathal is part of the County Senior management set up.
