It was standing room only for the Film Night in Back from the Booley event in Clonduff Club on Monday night.
The films showcased the work of local filmmakers Tara McKevitt and Declan Curran.
Tara’s documentary ‘The Missing Boy’ told the story of Ballyholland boy James Poland who disappeared from school in 1938 and was later found dead on a mountain at the back of Hilltown. Declan’s award-winning short film ‘Shine’ tells the story of a young man who branches out from his restricted background to follow his dream of breaking into showbusiness.
A wonderful evening’s entertainment – there was no entry fee to the event but patrons could make a donation to the Mourne Mountains Rescue Team.
