Eight teams – 2 x Clonduff, Burren Rostrevor, Cumann Pheadar Naofa, Bosco, Bryansford, Castlewellan took part in the annual U12 tournament and many thanks to them for being part of it. It was a great festival of Ladies Football played in glorious conditions on Saturday morning. The teams played in two groups of four with the top two in each group playing in the semi finals of the Cup and the bottom two in the semi finals of the Shield. Clonduff Ógs defeated Cumann Pheadar Naofa in the Cup Final; Burren defeated Bryansford in Shield Final. It was Wonderful morning of Ladies Football – everyone was a winner including the weather. Many thanks to Clonduff parents for providing and serving the lunch; the young U14 & U17 LGFA players who acted as referees umpires, runners and all those who helped in any way including Goretta and Noleen in the shop.
