Not to be outdone by the girls a goof wee crown of boys turned up for Handball Training the same week and they too were divided into two groups to allow more fruitful training sessions. The Mentors are Colin Shields and Des McNeill who will drop in at the beginning of the sessions to coach and demonstrate then it is up to the parents to supervise and organise
The children in Group 1 are: Rían Quinn, Enda Maginn, Shea Lowry, Sean Harper, Daire Lavery, Lee Fearon and Aidan Quinn
Group 2:
Will Kelly, Patrick Cowan, Shane Close, Joey O’Hare, Dan Rafferty, Ronan Matthews, Ben Magee.
A good first night was had by all the handballers. Des and Colin illustrated the various techniques and had all the children attempting to strike the ball correctly. Well done everybody.
