It was Clonduff G4MO’s turn to host their first game this year at home (Tuesday 20th August) to our neighbours from Rostrevor, whom Clonduff visited in July.
There was a good turn out from both teams and Clonduff were glad to see some of their members who haven’t been able to play this year, there to cheer them along.
It was a well ‘fought’ game between the teams, both teams determined to play to the end.
In the words of one spectator, it was” a very competitive and hard hitting game”. With that being said it was still played within the G4MO ethos and both teams were able to have a bit of banter throughout the game. It was great preparation for Clonduff’s trip to Portmarnock for the National Blitz at the beginning of September.
A big thanks to PJ Quinn for refereeing and to Olivia McPolin for getting the refreshments sorted for both teams after.
