CLONDUFF LGFA CELEBRATION EVENING

The U18 LGFA Team 2021

The League and Championship Double winning U18 team and Senior Intermediate Finalists were treated to a fabulous meal and presentation evening in The Downshire Arms Hilltown on Saturday evening. Following the meal All the girls received their medals with Brian and Liam (Senior Managers) presenting the medals to the Senior Ladies. Damien Henning, Jimmie Devlin and Kevin Kearney (Minor Management) presented the medals to the Minor Ladies.

Shereen Lyness-Feenan, Club PRO who was involved with both teams, was Bean an Tí for the evening.

Joint Minor Captains Ellen Shields and Orlaith McCusker made a presentation to the managers on behalf of the team; and this was followed by the ‘Cutting of the Cake’ by the captains of both teams – Ellen Shields and Orlaith McCusker (U18) and Leanne McAleavey and Kelly Fitzpatrick (Senior).

It was a lovely end to a great year for the Ladies – the Seniors got to officially thank their management and wish Liam all the best as he steps down from the role.
