Clonduff’s Club history will show that the U12 footballers fielded two teams at the Mayobridge tournament on Saturday 21st August – Clonduff Shamrocks and Clonduff Harps. And, as in the past, both teams enjoyed great success in the competition, with the Harps narrowly losing in the Shield semi final 2-2 to 2-6 (after being behind 2-4 to 0- at half time), whilst Shamrocks won the Cup, beating Burren 1-8 to 1-4 in a very spirited final, and who had beaten Clonduff in the League stage of the tournament. Congratulations go to both squads for providing the large crowd with exciting, competitive and exciting football.
