Recreational Sevens in An Riocht – Clonduff
participated, with aplomb, in the Joe Donnan Memorial Masters Recreational Sevens Tournament in An Riocht on Saturday 4th September 2010. There were four groups of four teams – Clonduff were grouped with Longstone, An Riocht and Castlewellan, winning their three games. In the Quarter Final they defeated Ballymartin and then Atticall in the Semi Final. On reaching the final v Warrenpoint they encountered a team that scored a couple of goals against them but by that stage Clonduff were unable to reply in kind. They had a great day out and enjoyed the experience – Paul Kelly (extreme right back row) managed the team.
