CLONDUFF SOCIAL INITIATIVE GROUP ATTEND ULSTER EVENT 2013

Twelve people from the Clonduff Parish attended the ‘Ulster Breakthrough Years’ organised by the Ulster Council, particularly the Social Initiative Co-ordinator Fiontánn Ó Dowd, to mark their own 125 years! The event was held in the magnificent surround of The Garvaghey Centre of Excellence in Tyrone. It covered Ulster Football teams from 1950-1972. The presentation was made by Donal McAnallen with interviews of Special Guests by former Ulster President Aogán Ó Fearraill. To round off the evening everyone’s registration form was entered for a club trip to Croke Park to include Stadium and Museum Tour with lunch for the whole group in a corporate box overlooking the hallowed turf!  AND THE LUCKY WINNER WAS NONE OTHER THAN THE CLONDUFF CHAIRMAN BRENDAN MURRAY – the trip will take place in early October for adult members of the community
