Many congratulations to Clonduff U20 Footballers who put on a scintillating performance in the final 20 mins to secure a 5-12 to 0 0-5 Championship win in Owen Roe Park, Kilcoo on Sunday (24th November 2013). Clonduff were always the better team and perhaps should have had the game put to bed at half time but they shot numerous wides. They led 1-4 to 0-2 at the break but Bryansford started brighter in the second half and when awarded a penalty they were four points adrift. Young Mark Bradley, however, had other ideas and brought off a magnificent save – one of several during that second half but this effectively was the turning point. The introduction of Niall McPolin and Liam McGreevy added impetus to the game and The Yellas ran out easy winners.
