CLONDUFF VINTAGE TRACTOR AND CLASSIC CAR CLUB FUNDRAISER 2023
Organiser PJ Quinn with representatives of the Kevin Bell Repatriation FundMembers of Clonduff Vintage Club presented three local Charities with cheques from monies raised at their vintage day held on Easter Monday 2023.
This year’s three charities, The St John’s Conference, St Vincent de Paul Society, The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust and NI Chest Heart and Stroke each received £1,500 from the club.
Members of the local St John's Conference, St Vincent de Paul SocietyDeborah and Ruairi O’Connor of the Downshire Arms Hotel very kindly donated all the profits of the breakfast morning held in conjunction with the Vintage Club on Easter Monday morning. This added a further £400 to the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust. Helena Gribben also donated £405 in memory of her late husband PJ to NI Chest Heart & Stroke. The generous gestures from Deborah, Ruairi and Helena are very much appreciated by the two Charities.
A spokesperson from the Vintage Club said “we at the club are so proud of our local community and the involvement of The Downshire Arms Hotel management and Helena in coming on board with us, completely unsolicited, to help boost the contributions we were able to make to our chosen charities this year”
Once again the club want to thank all the businesses and volunteers from our local community who helped make the day the success that it was without you we couldn’t have raised over £5,000 for charity!
