Having the time of their lives at the Ulster Finals
CLONDUFF LITTLE’UNS SOAKED UP THE ATMOSPHERE AT THE END OF THE ULSTER SCÓR NA nÓG FINALS 2024!
It’s always something very special at the end of either county, provincial or national Scór Finals, and with the musicians who provided the music for all the dancers – Oisín MacAnna and Jude Quiqq – leading the ‘band’ the little ladies in green lapped it up! In front – Rachael Fealy and Aine Quinn; at back (beside Coach Wendy and her baby Jodie) is Darcy Branagan and Una Canning; in the middle Maeve Canning, Rosa McShane, Lucy Canning and Cara Quinn.
And when the results were announced Cara and Aine congratulated the big girls in green – Glenullin – and got to hold the cup! Glenullin had encouraged the little Clonduff girls who were given a rousing reception, a fabulous introduction from Bean an Tí Anne Quinn and a special mention by Ulster GAA President Ciarán McLaughlin!
And then to finish off the day everybody from Clonduff congregated in Friar Tuck’s, a tradition that was established away back in the early 1990s! It was a day these children will never forget!
