Katherine, the daughter of Clonduff GAA Club ASAP (Alcohol and Substance Abuse) Officer Marie has been successful in applying for funding to make a difference in her local community. She was inspired to apply for LIVE UnLtd funding to address an issue which many young people face.
Katherine was just one of twelve young people in Southern Health Trust area who won this funding for her innovative idea to promote Drug and Alcohol awareness through fund and interactive drama workshops. These workshops will be presented by BEAM Creative Enterprise Ltd and will be held in Carcullion House on Monday 2nd July – 1pm to 2.30pm for 13-15 year olds; 3pm to 4.30pm for 16-18 year olds.

Katherine is an active member of Clonduff GAA Club currently involved with U8 Football coaching on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. She was one-third of the Scór na nÓg County Winning team in 2010 (with Mark Devlin and Ciara Kelly) and represented Clonduff (with Niohmi Murray) at the National Youth Forum later that year.
