Congratulations to the Down team who overcame the horrendous conditions and University of Ulster students in Pairc Esler on Wednesday night, 14th January 2015 on scoreline of 1-13 to 1-7. Down now top the group but await the result of the Cavan v Monaghan game (call off due to snow-covered pitch) to see who progresses – all four teams had one win each going into the last round – Cavan had beaten Down who beat Monaghan; Monaghan had beat UUJ who in turn beat Cavan – Cavan defeated Monaghan by 3 points and progress as group winners.
