Clonduff GAA Club hosted the Down v Kilkenny Div 2 Camogie clash on Sunday afternoon (23rd March 2014). Down were in sparkling form in the first half and led 1-10 to 0-5 in the warm sunshine. The weather took a turn for the worse at half time with a hail storm and simultaneously Down let the visitors back into the game and they narrowed the gap to four points. Then the sun came out again and the Down girls responded to run out comfortable winners on a score of 2-13 to 1-7. With only one game left in the group in which they are so far unbeaten, Down have practically secured a League play-off spot. Clonduff girls on the team, all of whom played some part are: Paula Gribben, Fionnuala Carr, Orla Maginn, Jenna Boden and Clare McGilligan.
